A delicatessen in a diverse area of Nottingham, the Crocus Cafe and Bakery specialise in organic, unusual breads and foodstuffs. The name is inspired by Lenton’s famed history for having fields of these wild flowers.

Pinnacle Logo

Pinnacle Safety Solutions are a safety at height and fall prevention company, which Amplitude have worked with from start-up, nearly a decade ago with this logo. Pinnacle came with very specific ideas about how they wanted their logo to look (which is quite unusual), and it was Mark’s job to turn their ideas into a professional logo design. Over the years the logo has evolved with their company, but always stayed true to the original design.

Status Enquiry Logo

Status Enquiry are an established UK-wide investigation service for the financial and legal industries. They approached Amplitude wanting a modern logo that would show their prestige whilst standing out against their competitors.

County Bathroom Supplies Logo

County Bathroom Supplies is a new showroom, and a subsidiary of AGS. As a new venture for AGS, who normally deal only with trade, the brief was to give the logo consumer appeal. We used blues to reflect water, with a rubber duck as a cheeky nod to bathing. The rounded typeface is friendly, and the overall affect is a clean lifestyle magazine feel.

Gem Chem Logo

Part of the AGS family, they manufacture water treatment solutions for whirlpool baths. The bubbles in the logo denote a cleaning fluid, whilst resembling a molecule as studied in chemistry classes. The play on words is complemented with the colour green which often signifies hygiene.

AGS Logo

Aqwatech Global Solutions (AGS) are one of the largest whirlpool bath manufacturers and service companies in the UK. Like a lot of our clients Amplitude has worked with AGS for many years, creating their company identity starting with this logo. This logo has recently been updated, but remains true to the original design.

Beautolistic

Our brief was to convey both sides of Charlotte’s business as a beauty therapist and established make-up artist. We wanted to reflect Charlotte’s professionalism with classic minimalist style.

Arnold Mill Primary School

Arnold Mill is a newly built primary school (formerly Church Drive). To celebrate the new school a competition was held amongst the pupils to design a new badge. The children had to include a windmill in their designs, as records show one used to be on the site of where the new school was being built.

As Mark’s children attend the school he offered his services, brushing up the winning design to a professional standard. Mark said:

“As a community project it was great fun and fulfilling on a personal level.”

Layer 3 Logo

Layer 3 provide high quality network audit, build and support services. They approached Amplitude to redesign their existing logo, which they were no longer happy with, as they felt it wasn’t as polished or professional as they would like.

The logo takes its inspiration from their name (Layer 3 is the network layer, of the seven-layer OSI model of computer networking). The logo is also a visual reference to a cross section of network cable.

Pride Computer Solutions

A personal favourite of Mark’s. This logo design came about when a few of his friends decided to start an IT Support company. The design is inspired by the company name, using his fine art background Mark’s artist’s impression of a lion’s face is stylish and masculine. The sharp edges make the lion’s features dynamic, combined with a cool colour pallet keeps the visual language appropriate.
