Mark is the owner of Amplitude and is an highly experienced designer with nearly 15 years under his belt. An extreme sports fanatic, he travels all over the UK mountain biking and takes every opportunity to ride. Not shy of new experiences Mark travels often, having visited Asia, Europe and the Americas multiple times.
A lover of cinema, we know it’s his secret desire to be a film director, and with a keen eye for photography, there’s no reason he couldn’t do it. Interestingly Mark is mainly self-taught, having no official qualifications in design: his aptitude and flair got him talent spotted and his first design position, 7 years later a major contract allowed him to start Amplitude. Mark is renowned as being incredibly client-orientated and totally approachable.
Mark first realised his artistic talents when children in school would pay him to draw them Disney cartoons. This is perhaps why his work for Snomoose, Thirsty Lion and Pizza Plus are hugely successful parts of his portfolio.

Over the years Mark has created work for many well-known brands such as McDonalds, Raleigh, Goldsmiths and Halifax Building Society. The diversity of his portfolio has made him unrivalled in broad experience across many business sectors.
Fun and compassionate as a colleague, full disclosure and total honesty are absolutely pivotal at Amplitude, with Mark believing strongly that these are the foundations to success.

A Junior Designer, Richard first started work at Amplitude after graduating from Nottingham Trent University, where he studied Graphic Design. Gifted and hardworking, his presence at Amplitude is invaluable, forming a strong bond with Mark that has kept him ‘up north’ for longer than he expected.
An alumnus of the Bournemouth Arts Institute, Richard’s panache for design is rivalled only by his love of rugby. An exceptional player, he competed at county level before injury cut short his career.
With an impetus on academia at his grammar school, Richard feels he rebelled down the creative route, but recognises his natural aptitude would have led him here anyway.
